Bank interests still around 0 percent
During the worldwide economic problems the different big banking companies have lost over 50% of their capital. Now, a few months later, the banks are climbing out of the red numbers into to greens but the interests on saving accounts will stay as low as possible. This is something a financial expert said yesterday in a press conference. Because of the risk to get a new economic problem its smart to have the interest rate as low as possible, this gives the bank more freedom in dealing on the market and earning more money to keep the bank stable.
Because of the low interest on the saving accounts a lot of costumors are hopping between banks to get the highest interest. Their are actually some bank companies who are offering more then 3% interest, but, this will drop in the first months to around 1 to 2%. Its better to just wait for the economic renovation, the interest will climb up to its normal level when the financial market is back in their old glory again.
